Nihari

Nihari este o reteta cu specific pakistaneza, constand in pui/vita fierte in sos de nihari. Seamana cu o ciorba sau supa insa nu e nici una dintre acestea. Dupa cum bine stim nici macar ciorba nu poate fi asemanata cu o supa.

Reteta se gateste doar cu condimentul cu acelasi nume, Nihari.

Ingrediente:

  • piept de pui/1 pui intreg;
  • 3-4 bucati de ghimber;
  • condiment Nihari;
  • piper, sare;
  • faina alba;
  • 1 ceapa mare.

Mod de preparare:

Se taie pieptul de pui cuburi si se pune in uleiul incins pana capata o culoare albicioasa. Se adauga sare, piper, bucatile de ghimber si putin condiment de nucsoara pentru un gust aparte.

Apoi adaugam 2 linguri mari de condiment Nihari si mai lasam 2-3 minute la foc mediu. E important sa adaugam acest condiment, altfel reteta nu va avea nici o legatura cu reteta specific pakistaneza Nihari.

Adaugam apa cat cuprinde, 3 foi de dafin si lasam sa fiarba timp de aproximativ 15 minute.

Intre timp pregatim intr-un bol 2-3 linguri de faina cu apa pe care le amestecam bine ca sa nu avem cocoloase si punem in mancarea noastra care va consta intr-un sos gros cu pui. Mai adaugam 1 lingura de condiment Nihari si mai lasam la foc mic timp de 2-3 minute.

Prajim separat ceapa pana capata o culoare maronie si o adaugam peste mancarea noastra.

Nihari se serveste dupa preferinte cu paratha/roti (lipia specific pakistaneza) sau cu lipie libaneza, dar eu prefer cu paine atunci cand nu am paratha.

Ingrediente:

  • 6 cartofi;
  • piper;
  • condiment achar;
  • chilli rosu;
  • ceapa verde/chilli verde;
  • nucsoara;
  • ghimbir;
  • sare;
  • garam masala.

Mod de preparare:

Se taie cartofii cuburi si se fierb pe jumatate. Intr-o tigaie punem ulei la incins si adaugam chilli rosu, nucsoara, piper si ceapa verde. Amestecam bine, adaugam sare si 3 bucati mici de ghimbir dupa care punem cartofii si condimentul achar.

Se pune 1 pahar cu apa si se acopera. Lasam pana apa scade. Aceasta reteta nu presupune sos, deci lasam pana apa a scazut de tot.

La final presaram garam masala. Se serveste cu salata.

I have almost 1 year since i first started to apply henna and day by day it gets better and better: yupieeee!!! 😛 In this post i want to share with you some of my new henna design. I am really proud of my work and hopefully it will get even better with time.

As you can all see, I don’t really like full heavy mehndi. I believe in simple things, which are more elegant then the heavy ones. This time I chose the bracellet design and a very cute sun on the feet.

Chicken Keema

Ingrediente:

  • piept de pui tocat;
  • porumb fiert;
  • ceapa;
  • sos de rosii;
  • sare;
  • piper;
  • nucsoara;
  • scortisoara;
  • condiment de ghimbir;
  • garam masala.

Mod de preparare:

Se prajeste ceapa. Adaugam carnea tocata si amestecam continuu timp de aproximativ 10 minute. Adaugam toate condimentele amestecand continuu.

Adaugam sosul de rosii si apa cat sa acopere carnea. Lasam la foc mediu. Cand apa mai scade adaugam porumbul si garam masala. Mai lasam 2 minute si puiul keema este numai bun de servit.

Se serveste cu orez.
